Biggles goes off in search of a Gold bullion carrying ship (The Starry Crown)bound in the Antarctic Ice. He is closely followed by ruthless criminals. The Story becomes particularlly gripping as part of the Ice shelf bearing the bullion breaks away to become an Iceberg carrying away one of Biggles crew (Ginger).
Originally published in 1949 this is a great read written at the peak of W E Johns writing prowess.
