From Fat! Records, I was expecting another album full of big bouncy party breakbeat tunes in the style of Friendly or Paul Arnold. And in parts, that's what this album is, but it also goes a bit further, especially when it comes to creative use of the essential synthesizer.

Tracks like "Carve Your Name" and "Into The Air" get into more atmospheric, synth-led electro places that reminded me of the recent Rex The Dog album. It all goes a bit hip-hop on "Jump Up Get Hype" but inbetween there's still plenty of bounce.

I would've preferred a few more vocals, myself, but it's music produced with care and attention and there's a lot more to it than just 14 club tracks. If you like breaks tunes, but also like proper albums, then check this out.
