Don't bother..... If that's not enough let me expand.
Patterns tell you to use bigger needles than the yarn recommends, which means your end result looks nothing like the photos. When you do use the right needles you end up using loads more yarn than the book suggests.
I'm a size 16 and 5ft 8in..... not a fat giant......so why do the measurements they suggest for my size make me feel like I'm 8ft 5in? Everything is short..... not fasion short....just short.
I got this book because I thought it would be good for a novice like me. Feeling very frustrated I gave the book to my grandmother, who has been knitting for 65 years, she could only agree with me that this book is BIG RUBBISH!

To be fair I should say that I've only knitted the shrug which is the simplest thing possible, but it was very easy indeed and people often compliment me on it and are amazed when I say I've knitted it myself. I also wear it as a scarf as sometimes you know you'll need a scarf but you think you may also need the shrug, eg when you get indoors if it turns out to be a bit chilly. I can't comment on the sizing for the clothing designs but they certainly look lovely and also easy to knit.

Some nice patterns in for all the family. Could work out expensive if you use their wool but it pays to shop around. I am pleased with my purchase as it gives me ideas as well
