This level crossing is compatible with most wooden railways. It has moving gates with special pegs that slot in to holes in the base. It is very easy to operate. The gates can be closed to stop the trains or to stop cars crossing, as in real life. This product is used in most of my sons railways designs. It also features a lot in his story telling. A great product if the railway enthusiast in your life wants a level crossing.

I would like to say that I received this package very promptly but when it arrived the outer packing was all in tacked and fine, but on opening it the box was squashed and the level crossing poking through. This was a present for a friend and it looked a bit of a mess. I emailed the seller and on the same day, they sent an apology and replaced the item which I received two days later, packed with bubble wrap in a box. I was very pleased with their service and would definately use them again. Our friend loves the level crossing and he has had hours of fun using it and loves it as he does not only play with his trains, but now his cars!

The level crossing is not a bad addition to your train set. My son loves opening & closing the gates to let the trains through, although as he is only 2, the gates take a dexterous hand to fit in the slots. A great price!

Good little bit of track.

Good fun and well made
The level crossing is well built and seems to be quite easy to open/close the gates. My son loves playing with it, sometimes he just plays with this without any other track.

HOURS OF FUN
