I recently received my 'Bumpits' after reading the excellent reviews on them. I have to say that I am very disappointed! For a start, I did not get the option of what colour I wanted and so ended up with dark brown... I have blonde hair! I then tried them out. I could not get them to stay in without putting absolutely loads of hairspray on, which then made my hair look very fake and greasy. And even then, the 'bumpit' still fell backwards. The combs were visible through my hair and I found it extremely difficult to get the right amount of hair and position the 'bumpit' in the correct way. I would not recommend at all!

When i saw these on the web, i instantly snapped them up, thinking they would be a good investment. I have quite fine hair and whenever i backcomb it it seems to fall flat within an hour or so.
The bumpits are easy to use, however you do still need to backcomb your hair somewhat otherwise the bumpits just falls straight out.
Also, I found that due to my fine hair, you could still see the little prongs through the top of my hair, not a good look.
However, I would recommend them to anyone with thick hair however I would say to use both bumpits when using the product or you'll end up with a rather square-shaped head at the back.

i have had fine hair since i can remember and tried backcombing to add volume but after a couple of hours my hair seemed to 'shrink' back to flat, so when this came out i thought why not try it and i am so glad i did. the only problem i found is it can irritate your scalp a little and removing it is not the easiest but for the price & the fact its taken away endless hairstyling and blowdrying its definitely worth a little irritation. plus, as women, we suffer for shoes so why not our hair :D hope this helps x

Cheap i would not buy this again!!!!!
These do not work they cheap they dont last long and dont hold hair very well WONT BE BUYING THESE AGAIN ANY TIME SOON

Takes too long and is very fiddly
Wast of money. It doesn't stay on ur head and look fake. I bought it as it seems to be easy and quick to get the look but in fact it take even more time.

Item not correct
i recieved my bumpits and found that they were dark brown, i have light blonde hair and there is no mention that they would be dark brown, the picture was of blonde bumpits. Read more

value for money
I got long thick hair therefore the bumpits stayed perfectly on my head, but needed lots of hairspray and pins.

Doesn't grip in your hair

Not too good
Not as good as expected - did not stay in place unless a lot of hairspray used. Would not buy again, or buy if a pair was borrowed before.

Really dont work...
This product just did not stay in my hair... Did not work at all, but im glad I tried it, and for such a low price, didnt really have much to loose.

not bad
These were not blonde as advertised. They were dark brown which is a problem when your hair is very light blonde. They do work really well though and look fab.
