Towa Tei does it Again!

Towa Tei is actually a friend of mine on facebook. He is truly gifted and one of my favorite musicians. As a DJ turned musician back in the ancient 90's, Towa Tei captured the hearts of millions with his ability to turn acid jazz like tunes into just about anything danceable. Back in those days, I used to break some moves to his music - now I just tune out the angry world around me on the subway and listen to T.T. Here, in this album, he creates an ode to keeping the mind together in a world gone dizzy with upheaval and constant stimuli upsetting the in-the-know mind. He runs each piece beautifully into one another and ends his trans-meditation steel drum sounds with a final piece called "All". This is truly a hypnotic bunch of works of his and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something new and inspiring to listen to. Magic happens here and there is no denying that Towa Tei pays close attention to every sound he uses as he always has. Indulge yourself and groove from one exciting tune to another more space age melodic one. This album truly takes you out of yourself! Don't hesitate, enjoy!
