I bought this book as my little girl wants to learn to read. I was very disappointed when I sat down to look at it with her as the font that the book is printed in meant that she was unable to recognise some of the letters such as g and a. The story is great but she was put off by the obstacle this created. Not a good first book for a new reader.

I bought this book to take into the Preschool where I work, all the children loved it and it really tied in with our Spring discussion on Eggs and Growing. Super Book

This was the first book that my daughter read on her own, and what joy she had on her face when she read the last page! A wonderful use of simple words and repitition makes this a great book for children just starting out to read. I wish there were more books like this one! Catherine, mom to Caroline
