This DVD release was executively produced by Big Country's manager Ian Grant. It collects together 22 original promo videos, spanning 1982's `Harvest Home' through to 1999's `Perfect World'.
The clips range from standard performance videos to the band starring in short films based on the lyrics and filmed in a wide variety of locations.
The `Harvest Home' video provided the first glimpse of the band on film. Depicting them in one scene wearing oil stained vests and manoeuvring their way past sewage pipes at a disused waste disposal site, as Allan Glen comments in his excellent new biography
Stuart Adamson: In a Big Country, `Rio' it wasn't!
Among the highlights of the early clips are `Fields Of Fire', which depicts a battle scene from World War I, and `Wonderland' which is shot on snowy mountains, while `In A Big Country' finds them down in Dorset searching for treasure across land and sea!
There's a grainy black and white film (set in the 1950's) for `East Of Eden' and a US outlaw-inspired clip for `Look Away'. The `King Of Emotion' video was shot in the Australian outback, while `Peace In Our Time' includes footage from both Moscow and Washington!
Available sound options are Dolby Digital Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and DTS 5.1 Surround. Duration is approx. 92 minutes and the DVD is NTSC 4:3 / Region Code 2,3,4,5. There are no extras. Overall this is a superb collection for any Big Country fan.
