By Dr. Trang TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
This full colour hardcover book is intended for 1 to 2 year-olds: a child's first book designed to teach them to recognise a variety of things and put names to them, and to be interactive between parent and child.

The images are big, bold and simply drawn with a hint of humour, and organised into themed `chapters.' The book has a recurrent game: an image of an owl is somewhere on every 2-page spread, which you can help your child to find and keep his/her attention engaged.

For a first-learning book of its type - of which there are many - this one is very, very good.

By Clare Mccann VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
A nice toddler book with a padded card cover which makes it very appealing to hold. The book has some lovely illustrations and activities which young children will enjoy working through with an adult. The book is divided into First Concepts (e.g. finding shapes in pictures) First Words (self explanatory!) Can You Find (searching for objects in larger pictures) Favourite Things (toys, clothes etc.) and Activities.

The book feels as though it has a slight boy-bias in its content (lots of trucks, not so many fairies and princesses) but don't let that put you off. Incidentally I had to laugh at the inclusion of "meerkats" on the animal page alongside some much more everyday creatures - They get everywhere!

Nice concept, but please employ a better artist!
The concept is a great one, the idea that you can teach your toddler all sorts of interesting things in a colourful book that will appeal to them is, no argument, a very good idea. Read more

owl-tastic fun for toddler and adult to enjoy together
Lovely, fun illustrations - especially if you like owls! Lots of words your child will know already and new ones too to expand their world (and vocabulary). Feels nice to hold too.
