About the Author
David E. Carter invented the "logo book" category in 1972 when he published Volume 1 of The Book of American Trade Marks. Today, he has produced nearly 80 books on the topic, and is creating new titles at the rate of 6-8 per year. He has created corporate identities for more than 300 businesses, and for a 10 year period beginning in 1989, he worked extensively with clients in southeast Asia, primarily Indonesia and Thailand.
