This album is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the lost gems of the 90's. For the moment, it seems to have been curiously forgotten, but it is pretty much all killer, no filler, and a proper rock and roll album to boot. I can't help but have a feeling that this is a band that everyone in 20 years will claim they were into at the time, because the quality of the songwriting alone will endure. The Dolls were a fantastic live band too (the first band i ever saw live, and therefore hold a special place in my heart), and that energy is totally captured on the record, from the opening power chords of "New Loafers" until the end. Furthermore, as a guitarist myself, I love the lead playing on this record - the guitar lines are original, sparse and to the point, and just another reason that this band are criminally underrated. In summary, buy this record, do it now, and I promise you will not regret it!
