4.0 out of 5 stars Dynamic Bollywood re-working of Besson's classic Leon, 30 Sep 2001
This is the first Bollywood movie I've bought on DVD, and it certainly won't be the last. While some aspects, such as the sudden intrusion of cheesy Hindi pop with equally ridiculous dance routines and some seriously unbelieveable plot devices, fit with some people's stereotyped view of Indian movies, there is also a lot of good action and acting. Bobby Deol is great as a kind of silent killer/cheerful pop idol (mad fantasy sequences!), and is often quite chilling. Rani Mukherjee is the real find here though. A genuinely gorgeous young woman with plenty of spirit. The plot is utterly ripped off from Luc Besson's Leon, but I think this is just the way that Bollywood works... formula plots with crazy music. I loved it. It's pretty violent, but there's no nudity or even kissing! And those wacky dance routines!!!

Wow!!!!! This for me was a whole new experience in Bollywood entertainment. It isnt the normal love triangle story but a story of love blossoming from the fear of the past. It is a trully "edge of your seat" type movie incorporating music, fear, love and danger. The movie keeps you happy from start to finish and it is a movie you will never forget. With two great actors, a grat soundtack and good directing, Bichoo will always be number one in my collection. Its BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
