Not very impressed with the size of this. I was expecting a big illustrated book but instead the pages are smaller than a regular sheet of paper, only about 7.5"x10"x3/8" thick, and with the exception of the center foldouts (1 for every 5 summaries) the illustrations and font are small too. The front and back covers are made from flimsy card stock and the pages are a no gloss heavy paper. The stories are really very brief summaries presented in picture caption format like a story board but there is only one small picture/caption summary per story (50 OT & 50 NT). It constantly refers the reader to consult their Bible Coach. I believe it is intended to be read and studied together with an adult. I'll have to try it out on my kids to see what their reaction is before I can comment on the value. It was not what I expected but that's my fault for making assumptions and not going to their website before purchasing. Overall it appears to be a useful teaching tool.
Here's how it's portrayed at their website: [...]
