I was so excited getting the Baby Biorb for my daughter's birthday, 9 months ago. Since then, we've lost 9 fish - that's one a month. I followed the instructions to the letter, have replaced the filter every 6 weeks, cleaned the tank weekly, used the right food, replaced the water (1/3) regularly and used the various sachets suggested for the tank, and patiently replaced each of the lightbulbs that blew after only 2 weeks.
It's cost a lot more than I thought a fishtank should, but it looked good and we wanted to keep it.
But, today when I got home and found the two small guppies boiled to death because of the heater malfunctioning, my patience with this tank, and all its Biorb accessories, has run out! I'm not even going to try to re-sell it, or freecycle it as it would just cause problems for the next poor soul that gets drawn into the 'Biorb' myth!
You're better off buying a cheap tank without all the frills.
