About the Author
Michael Foley was born in Derry in 1947 and educated at St. Columb's College, Derry and Queen's University Belfast. His first novel was serialised initially, and published in book form in 1984; his subsequent two novels were published by Blackstaff Press: The Road to Notown (1996) and Getting Used to Not Being Remarkable (1998). Michael has also published a collection of translations of French poetry, and three poetry collections with Blackstaff Press. He currently lives in London where he lectures in Information Technology at the University of Westminster. He is married with one daughter.
