Beyond Death: Conditions in the AfterLife by Philip Solomon and Professor Hans Holzer.

This is a brilliant book because it gives the reader an opportunity to know what the spirit world is like and what awaits us all. It also tells of the existence of some very famous celebrity people and what they continue to do on the other side as individuals, people such as Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana and others, including ordinary people just like us. Has there ever been a book before, co-written by a world famous medium and an eminent leading parapsychologist, who seem to find the middle ground that leads to a fascinating insight into the afterlife? It really is a great read - get a copy quick before it sells out!

This would have been an entertaining read, but for me, far too much of the personality of the medium was in the supposed messages that came from those in spirit.

The way some of the famous people were supposedly relating to the Medium, to me, at least did not sit well.

The book was supposed to give a good idea of what life is like in spirit, I came away with no real idea that was any different to any other book that I have read on life after death. I had bought this book, thinking I would learn different information to all the other books that I have read on this topic.

Perhaps the spirits only have a limited time to come through to talk due to the amount of energy it takes to lower their vibrations. That aside , several time the word anger was mentioned, ie the spirit intimating that a question or response from the medium was going to make them angry, this to me seems strange, I thought it was all love and light over there.

Overall I did not feel this to me, felt like a genuine connection through to spirit, not completely false , but I felt the medium had put his own spin on too much of the conversation.

I have read better books on the subject, however that does not mean any of them are actually correct, we won't know until we get there ourselves!!!

Um, well.. 29 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am a Spiritualist and found this a bit repetitive - especially in relation to after-death sex - so I didn't feel that I had learned anything new.
