From Amazon.co.uk

Oscar winner Jon Voight (Ali, Deliverance, Midnight Cowboy) stars in this chilling supernatural thriller as John Koski, a detective on a mission to find the kidnapped granddaughter of the Chief of Police. The straight laced Koski is unwillingly paired up to solve the case with Farley, a famous psychic claiming to have had visions of Amy. The investigation grows stranger as they get deeper into it, revealing a troubled family and their haunted house. Koski begins to question his sanity and is forced to confront a dark secret of his own.

Product Description

Low-budget paranormal thriller starring Jon Voight as a detective trying to track down a missing girl. When Amy (Chloe Lesslie), the daughter of the local police chief, goes missing, seen-it-all-before detective John Koski (Voight) is assigned the case. None too impressed when he's made to work alongside psychic investigator Farley (Teri Polo), who claims to have had visions of the missing girl, Koski's views rapidly change as the pair uncover increasingly sinister evidence that tests their beliefs to the core.

This is probably the 2nd worst film I have ever watched! the first being skyline!

Poorly acted, lacking a script that made any sense! The characters bimble along without connection to the scenario they are trying to portray!

rubbish , utter rubbish

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Watchable and Keeps You Guessing! 8 Feb 2012
By Freespirit TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Purchased this because there was nothing worth watching on TV and I am so glad I did. This film surprised me. The very basic plot centres around a police detective 'John Voight' (Angelina Jolie's dad)who is due to retire. As a detective, he has had an amazing gift of being able to track down every child kidnapper he has come across apart from one early in his career which resulted in the child never being found. He is 'haunted' by this but tries to keep going. The plot then moves on. A young girl has an imaginary friend who lives in her bedroom. Without wishing to spoil things the little girl disappears without any trace and the finger of suspicion points to several different people. Voight has his own suspicions and tries to narrow things down. Move plot on and we are introduced to a 'Psychic' who has his own radio show. He keeps getting visions of where the young girl is and contacts the girl's family to offer help. he visits the home and tells the family there is a 'presence'...I won't go into any more detail. The film does have a spooky/creepy element and a few twists and turns of the plot which does keep you guessing. You just think you have worked it out...when you haven't. Very watchable withut becoming too heavy. Give it a go, if you like spooky films this one is for you. There isn't any gore or horror so perfectly safe for older kids (over 12).

1.0 out of 5 stars Next time kidnap the director 14 July 2012
Two good things in this movie - Jon Voight and the Alaskan scenery. I should have known better when i had seen the name of the hack who directed this - another turkey to add to his cv.

Appalling direction, editing and Voight aside, acting. The English actor playing thr tv show psychic was especially annoying. No thrills or tension. Cliched, dervative and boring. Avoid at all costs.
