5.0 out of 5 stars essential reading for all those involved in child protection, 1 Jul 2001
By jpearcetraining@compuserve.com (west sussex, england) - See all my reviews
I constantly use this book in my child protection training courses, and recommend it to course participants. It is refreshing in its blame-free approach to child abuse tragedies, and thought provoking as it explores the difficult issues raised by this topic. All those who are involved in working with children and families should read this book - which is as accessible as it is interesting. Definitely essential reading!

5.0 out of 5 stars Parents, Teachers, Childcare Works, Playworkers..., 30 Jul 2003
What would you do if you suspected Child Abuse? This book gives an in depth insight into some of the most publicised cases of child abuse. It presents all of the facts leaving you to learn valuable lessons. This is a very good book on this issue - one of the best in my opinion.
