Bought these specifically for exercising when coupled up with an ipod shuffle and having seen a good review about them in a hi-fi mag. Pleased to say I haven't been disappointed. They look good and feel comfortable in use. I'm not sure how comfortable they would be after a couple of hours but then I guess their use is more for an hour or so of exercising rather than all day.

The sound quality is very good - as the hi-fi review said it would be and importantly when running they didn't budge so there seems to be none of that problem I've seen with other exercise-oriented earphones where they only sound good as long as you press them into your ears. I've tried and it doesn't seem to make much difference.

The price is also very good. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'm not sure what the neckband seems to do. Maybe it helps the phones to stay in your ears but I would have preferred it if Beyerdynamic did a clip on version as well. It's not obtrusive, unless you bend your head back, but I can't quite see what effect it has?

I've had these headphones about 2-3 wks now and gone running in them 4 times (no other use).

Good points - they really do stay in, sound quality is reasonable and comfort is fair.

Bad point - right headphone has stopped working already. No obvious breakage in cable and no apparent way to check

So only 2 points. If they had stayed working it would have been 4.
