This purchase was a huge disappointment to me. Expected beautiful images and unique descriptions, I was discouraged to find that each bird is allotted only one page - which is filled with a black and white picture, a list of extremely basic facts about the creature, and nothing else. It's very difficult to distinguish between the engravings, the descriptions are so simplistic that they display a pitiful amount of knowledge, and the softness of the front cover is incredibly misleading.
A bland, unattractive book, that has minimal content, and even less attraction. Highly disappointing.
