5.0 out of 5 stars Just the darkest of hip hop 7 Dec 2012

I love Nerco.... and this one , a "compilation" of LP extracts , is quite excellent .
Another great sleeve's art work , like all Necro's .
For the one who don't know Necro is fusion of hip hop and metal , with excellent
samples , a true metal spirit...but in very good hip hop . Just hear it !!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all 13 Sep 2012

Its not Necro's finest but it is a good album. Some great tracks on here, Toxsik Waltz, Sharon's Fetus, Tough Jew are probably the top 3 tracks. One or two fillers but that may just be my taste. If you like Necro (like I do) you will like this album. Production is top notch. Lyrics are exactly what you expect. There is also a Jewish "hook" on the track Rabbi Holding Guns and it is awesome. Didnt think it could work but its sweet. Overall a good album from Necro but not his best. Album is short but quality over quantity. Necro fans will not be disappointed. If you are new to Necro I suggest you try his album "I Need Drugs" as a starter album as that is what got me in to his work and I am a Necro fan now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Q-U Supremacy... 8 Feb 2011
Format:Audio CD
WOW what an album!! After six years ''trying to solve the da Vinci code'' to quote a line from the opening track, this really is a modern marvel of an album. From the song writing perspective Q-U has everything following on from the concept of heaven and hell, he crafts wicked vivid descriptive metaphors about god and the devil colliding with one another in their ongoing grand war of good and evil and how life is like for him being caught up in-between it all. These concepts are covered mainly on Paradise and the abyss, Listening Problem, and the title track which happen to be my favorites. Then he swiftly engages on numerous other topics steering away from ''Vengeance is mine'' themes of braggadocio, battle rhymes and guns- which may I add is another classic offering - but more true to his hip hop roots. Discussing store robberies and unnecessary deaths on Mr. Lopez growing up in the crack era and how it affected rap, to solid rhyming and literary devices. On top of that he reforms with his former Arsonists brothers, all barring swell boogie to show some unity and drop some fantastic bars. The production is handled by Q-unique, Necro, Quincey Tones and Al Tarba all creating solid beats and catchy tunes...

I could talk for ages about the high quality of this album!! It really is an album worthy of being right at the top for releases between 2000 - 2010!!! If you liked the Arsonists Crew you cant SLEEP ON THIS ALBUM incredible work put in all round instant CLASSIC go show some support to real hip hop workmanship :)
