This is a fantastic cookbook. All the recipes are very easy to follow and quick to put together. It contains lots of recipe hints and additional ideas to spice up the dish. I gave it 4* because even though it's obtainable in the UK there are ingredients therein that you can't purchase here. So you either have to adapt it or not make it at all. Other than that there are lots to choose from. It offers comfort food recipes from meat, poultry to veggies and desserts.

Strange little recipe book full of ingredients I don't have in the cupboard and wouldn't usually buy (every recipe almost has condensed soup in it and ready-made products). The ingredients strike me as very American and typically not what you'd pick up in UK stores.
Sure its great if you are use to this kind of cooking, but in my mind even easy slow-cooker recipes involve fresh veg and meat.
Odd and unusable for me, but on the plus side well laid out and easy to understand with plenty of pictures.

i bought the betty crocker slow cooker dinners cook book about two months ago and have tried several recepies but some are a little bland so i use them as a base and add my own extra spices ect to give them a boost but it is full of good tips for anyone who hasnt used a slow cooker before as using a slow cooker is different to using a conventional oven as a lot less liquid is required overall not a bad buy
