HASH(0x9028c564) out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money 27 Jan. 2013

The summary is very misleading. This book was terrible! The main characters are not believable, and the female character is weak and immature. I do not recommend this book to anyone!

HASH(0x905dc3f0) out of 5 stars Too much deception 9 Feb. 2013

I only gave this book two stars primarily because of the heroine. She wasn't believable. Ryla acted as if the world owed her and that she was entitled to contrive and distort facts to her will. She was not a likeable character.

I was really excited to read this book, but it wasnt as exciting as i thought it would be, it didn't have the wow factor. Just okay. I loved the ending.

HASH(0x908d4b10) out of 5 stars Thought provoking 19 Jan. 2013

I really enjoyed the story of love between Ryla & Noel....I think Ms. Miller did a great job of keeping the book clean as well as making me the reader think about the hurts in my past that could hinder my future. I always love it when there is a male perspective because we women too often think we have the 411 on a situtation to later find out we only knew part of the story! I highly recommend this book to the single Christians!
HASH(0x912a97c8) out of 5 stars Better For Who? 5 Aug. 2013

Format: Mass Market Paperback
I am not one for reading about the kind of deception that happened in this story. Sometimes I think we feel like love can conquer all things but in reality this is some unforgivable stuff. Not to give too much away I will say that things were just not right from beginning to end. I couldn't like Ryla and nothing throughout the story made it easier for me to like her. I felt sorry for Noel and continued to feel that way and wished he would find someone who could love him completely. Someone that would fight for him, even if that meant pushing back, demanding answers, ready to put your stomping boots on, claim your territory. Ryla just angered me but I continued to read to find out if she would ever discover how wrong she was or even admit to being took too long for her to get there for my taste. So I couldn't be happy when they reunited.

The one thing that most people forget when reading these books is the best part of it...the emotions it draws from you. Whether that be a strong sense of hate for a character or a strong sense of love...if the author has made you feel something they have done their job. So that is why I gave this book two stars because Ms. Miller successfully drew out emotions in me that made me want to box Rylas' ears. Now the other part, especially in a love story, is for the reader to wish for happiness for the couple, wish for the couple to overcome adversity so they can finally be together. That's the other reason i gave this book two stars. I simply couldn't do that. I didn't want them to be together and I couldn't relate or get behind the heroine.
