A friend who had suffered from ME for over a year recommended this book to me when I was first diagnosed with Post viral fatigue syndrome. When I read I understood that some of the things I was suffering from where actually also part of the illness. It made me see things in a much more positive light. It doesn't give a quick fix to the illness but it does give light at the end of the tunnel and that was enough to get me started and believe that at some point I would get better.
