Not much use,

I suppose the clue should have been in the sub-heading, but this book is only useful if you've had one or two long term relationships. If you're starting with a pretty much blank slate, then there's not much help it can offer you.
Also, it didn't seem to have any scientific basis to it. The advice in the book wasn't drawn from surveys, interviews or real life anecdotes. It appeared to be just one man's opinions on why relationships sometimes don't work - really no different to the sort of things you chat about with your friends. It didn't tell me anything common sense hasn't already told me.

This book has very few original insights- 95% of it is basically just rehashing other relationship self- help books. And its not even entertaining in that!
