About the Author
Quentin Rowan grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He has written poetry for a variety of publications, including Witness, Fine Madness, The Best American Poetry of 1996 and the NYU Press anthology Broken Land. His short stories have appeared in The Paris Review and BOMB Magazine.

Plagiarized

Eddie, it reads like it is pasted together because it is actually pasted together. It is a wholesale plagiarism. The New Yorker has an article on the subject in the current issue. I would link to it but I am afraid Amazon will get mad if I do.

The way the sentences spin and turn in sharp and surprising ways makes this book fun but unreadable. It seems constructed using the Dada guide to writing: cut out phrases from different texts, shuffle them like dominoes, then grab and paste the cutouts into a new narrative order.
