Bet Cha Say That To All The Girls was released in 1983 but reached a lowly #169 0n the American Billboard chart. It was produced by George Duke a fine musician in his own right who has worked with artists such as Philip Bailey ex Earth,Wind and Fire, Deniece Williams, Shalamar and Stephanie Mills among others. Duke himself plays all the keyboards on this album. A favourite track of mine is the popular song Smile which made itself onto the Best of Album 1973 - 1993 but doesn,t appear on this years Difinitive Groove collection. B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Baby) and Gotta Get Back To Love reached #22 and #56 respectively on the US RnB Charts but also the title track and Thank You For the Party are also excellent songs the rap on Bet Cha being sung by non other than Al Jarreau.
