Format:Audio CD
Japan only best of featuring songs from their first 3 studio albums and their live album. Also features a cover of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", which is an essential listen for a Bodom fan. Also, tracks from Follow the Reaper (except Everytime I Die) are slightly different to the Nuclear Blast release of the album, though these changes aren't too noticable. Really only needed if you're a collector or die hard fan of the band as you don't get the other songs they left off (which are all as good as what's on here). It's also pretty expensive too. As good as best of's will come, but you'd be better off buying the other albums.

A new fan's review of this album

I found it to be very good overall, and being a new fan of the band I found it to be a good overview of the band's songs. From what I understand this is something of a greatest hits album except it is only from 1997-2000. The 33$ is pretty high for a single album and it is the only album of Bodom that I own so I have no reference point for this cd compared to others, but I thought it was a worthy purchase. The CD itself is very cool looking, but half of the lyrics in the cd booklet are in Japanese. If you are looking to buy this cd I would reccomend it to newer fans like myself. The standout tracks are the David Bowie cover of Rebel Yell which is done very well and the live tracks that were taken from their Tokyo concert.

Only For True Fans

Over the years Bodom have risen in the ranks of Heavy Metal and currently stand as one of the most idolized bands in the genre. No matter where you are from or what type of metal you prefer if you've even spent a couple hours online searching through pages upon pages of metal related material you are guaranteed to find several articles based on this band. Now on to this 'Best Of' Bodom album. Unless you are a die hard fan whom MUST own every single album by Children of Bodom pass this one up just go buy one or two of the albums. It's not bad, It just kinda is pointless. Yeah, It has some classic Bodom tracks but CoB albums are best heard in there entirety. The only thing the album maybe worth is for the Live tracks.. Which are good. If your still interested than theres not much i can say about it, Except it's a best of COB album from 2000 and back.. Track listing follows..

Children of bodom.. One of the best metal bands i've heard of in a long time.. If you like bands Like. Arch enemy.. hmm.. carcass.. at the gates.. and other sympanthy metal bands then you'l like this band. This Album is far greater than any COB album they have. The album is worth the price. All of their greatest songs + a Kick A** cover of billy idol-rebel yell.. In the Booklet of the album all of the lyrics are in japanese except for a couple.. Great album.. MUST BUY!
