Decent little heater, unlike the crappy usb variety, that only have access to a puny dribble of power this puppy can suck down a full 240v ( through a shaving adapter ) and pump out a sizzling 100*c

fear not! it will not burn down the house, or boil the drinks because the second you place something on it it will act like a heat-sink and the sizzle will be reduced to a nice 40*c which will keep warm drinks warm in a moderate climate, I can confirm it chugs along nicely at a room ambient temperature of 20*c

I tried making a cup of tea on it, just er, because...? this is obviously outside it's intended operational scope, however to it's credit it got the cup from 10* up-to 30* before I got bored.

all measurements +-10% using an infra-red thermometer.

no comment yet on it's durability, it looks a little cheap
( I mean it's £4.60, what do you expect? )
but time will tell I'll comment later when it breaks, and tell you how I managed it :D

delivery is a little slow, but it's an imported item so that's to be expected so-far I'm happy with the product, price and service.

Im happy with this drinks warmer, I was initially worried about the plug, but found it works fine with a shaving adapter

Robust, as I have left it on for a few days at a time and it hasn't suffered for it. It keeps things warm, if not hot.I have used it to keep my teapot warm. In fact, with a cosy added, the tea has kept quite hot for a couple of hours at a time. As for appearance, it is an innocuous white plastic and mottled grey, not pretty, but passable. Overall, it serves its purpose nicely.

Exactly as pictured. Be aware that this comes with a 2 (flat) pin plug that I chopped off
and replaced with a normal UK 13A plug - no big deal to do, took about 5 minutes.
Functionally speaking this isn't up to the job of keeping a cup of coffee hot - if even
lukewarm..... It is very underpowered and never even gets too hot to place your hand on.
I bought it for warming microscope slides on however, and for this purpose it is actually
very good - sorry, i know this doesn't help if you're looking for a proper hot-plate type
device to keep a hot drink hot except to say this really isn't going to be much good in
that role. You'd be better off avoiding this one I'n afraid - it isn't 'fit for purpose' in my
personal experience of someone who likes to keep a 200-250ml sized beverage at about
80 deg C.....
In it's favour, it's very cheap and seems reasonably well manufactured.

Why use prongs which don't fit into European sockets? This should figure as a specification. Also - why equip it with a cable which hardly reaches from the socket to any surface? Although the product heats well, it is very feeble and leaves doubt as to its durablility.

I needed a cup warmer and this was actually exactly what I was looking for. It's serving the purpose but truth be told...the packaging is as cheap as they come. Nevertheless, it works! Uh, I bought 2...just in case. And why not? The price was right.

Your shaving adaptor will need a 3A+ fuse. It won't work if the fuse is 1A.
