Format:Audio CD
The Best 70s Album In The World...Ever Vol.2 contains a great selection of songs from the decade. It is the kind of album where you find all the songs you never knew you knew. The first CD has a fairly classic rock theme to it with tracks such as "Layla" and "The Boys Are Back In Town". It then mellows out toward the end as it reaches tracks such as "Dance Away" and "Nights in White Satin". The Second Disc is in my opinion where the album is at its strongest. There are a series of the more relaxing mellow tracks which makes this a very listenable CD as it progresses smoothly from "Bridge Over Troubled Water" to the brilliant "Easy" and then gathering momentum toward "Tiger Feet" and the rock of the original disc, before finishing on the beautiful "When I Need You". I find this album very enjoyable simply because it has so much warmth to it, and is not tainted by the more depressing aspects of recent music. I hate to have to use the phrase "feel-good" to describe this album, but despite its over-use, this phrase fits the album perfectly. An excellent follow up to what was a very good compilation.

A kick back to my younger years If these CDs were 45s then I would have to be replacing them already. Great mix and there has to be a song on the CDs that someone loves. Love it - Buy it

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album 8 April 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Unlike most 70's albums, this has a mixture of early and late 70's and isn't just an album of Glam Rock. Would definately recommend.
