What can one say? They were simply the best, the cleverest, the funniest group of their time, far better than others with a nation-wide reputation. The settings are, of course very local, as are the accents, but the themes are universal and eternal. I just love them. I tried to decide which was the best track, Baillie Swick's "eyes down for the first charge"? Trans-Buchan airways wonderful in-cabin commentary? or the Will? Probably the last. It's so subtle, the changing relationship between the lawyer and his client. And, of course, so funny.
