To be frank, I thought that some of the other reviews of this booklet read like adverts from people with an interest in promoting it. I took a punt on it, in case it was as good as the hype, and I am very disappointed indeed.
It's a small, 76 page spiral bound notebook, for which £13.99 now seems a lot to pay. Despite the large logo on the cover, it appears to contain no speed camera information. I know the position on speed cameras in France is fluid, but why say the booklet contains information about them, when it simply doesn't?
The maps are ok, but are simply 10 mile to the inch maps covered with highlighting for the "best rides". There's nothing to say why any of these routes were chosen, or the criteria for leaving others out. These are selective matters, but it would have been good to know what determined any route's slection as one of "The Best Rides".
The mapping isn't of a quality I'd want to tour with, though it would be easy enough to transfer start and finish points recommended to a GPS. Given the low quality of the mapping (Bartholemews maps), making the pages of allegedly "waterproof" paper seems a bit OTT. This is more like a small work of reference that might be used to spot possible routes that can then be looked at in more detail on, say, a Michelin 1:150,000 sheet.
I'll have a look at the accompanying web site, but having bought it, this is not a book I'd recommend, for the content or the price.
