I've only recently started to collect the CD's of Tiffany, since re-kindling my interest in her a few years back.
After having these songs as a download for some time I decided it was time to actually own the physicial version.
This cd is filled with some good covers from the 80's.
I agree with another poster here that Venus is one of the better tracks on this album and that Kids in America sadly is not on par.
Further personal highlights include: I Think We're Alone Now, Could've Been, Forever Young, I Saw Him Standing There and You've Got A Way.
My only real complant is that I whished the cd had even more tracks...

So if you like the older 80's numbers on this album and like Tiffany's voice, then this could be a must-by for you.

This is one of the most painful audio experiences I have ever encountered.
I bought this expecting the original recordings but instead had re-releases which would appear to have been recorded as quickly as possible and without the benefit of auto-tune which is most definitely needed.
I am amazed that both Tiffany and her record producer allowed these versions to leave the studio. They are hideous and anyone with the ability to tell when a note is out of tune would cringe for 99%of this record.
It's a shame as some of these pop songs are well written and, at one stage or another, have been recorded properly (some by Tiffany herself).
Terrible!

This is a re-issue of Tiffany's 'I Think Were Alone Now: 80s hits and more' album with a much nicer look, choosing a better picture of the '80s teen queen to grace it's front, and loosing the awful balloons and artwork that gave it a very cheap' and nasty look. The music remains the same though, and it's the music I must comment on, and rate.

At the start of the new millennium, Tiffany, the darling of pop music cira 1987-1988 shocked us all when she released the brilliant singer-songwriter pop/rock comeback album that was 'The Color Of Silence', and deserved to put her back in the charts, and reinvent her as a modern day artist.

Since then, she seems to have been working backwards. Her next album, 2005's 'Dust Off And Dance' left a lot to be desired, unless of course, cheesy and 'gay' dance music is your thing. Now, she has decided to go right back to the '80s.

'I Think We're Alone Now - 80s Hits and More' is a very mixed bag of tricks. For this release, she has decided to re-record her most famous hits, including the title track, and an acoustic 'Could've Been', which I actually prefer to the original because her voice obviously sounds much more mature now.

As well as her own, Tiffany has recorded her own versions of other people's hits. The production though leaves a lot to be desired, and sounds very cheap, this is most apparent on her dreadful rendition of Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America', and dire interpretation of The Smiths' 'Panic (Hang The DJ)', in which I'll thankfully stick to the original. Her cover of Blondie's 'Call Me' however was actually used on a CD tribute to the band, and isn't bad at all, remaining faithful to the original, Tiff goes a good Deb impression, but is let down by the dodgy production.
