Alex and his partner, Tommy Lee, vow to avenge their friend's death by defeating Brakus and shutting down the fight club. Best of the Best 3 - Karate, tha ancient martial art and modern international sport is a contest of body, mind and spirit where often the the toughest competition is against yourself. Two former members of the U.S National Karate Team join forces to avenge the death of their friend, who was brutally slain in competition at an underground Las Vegas fighting club. An initial confrontation between the revenge-minded pair and the murderer leaves the evildoer with a horrible facial scar, and he vows to bury the two former internationalists. After he makes a few attempts to gun the duo down, they finally settle the score in a bloody match at the club! Best of the Best 4 - Tommy (Phillip Rhee) is caught in a harrowing net of Russian mobsters, violence and counterfeiting. Having 'obtained' the computer disk used by the U.S Treasury to print money, mobsters hijack a truck containing blank currency paper in order to make the 'real thing'. Tommy suddenly becomes the object of the gangsters furious pursuit after he, unknowingly, is slipped the disk. Willing to stop at nothing to get the disk back, the mobsters kidnap Tommy's daughter. With nowhere to turn and no one to rely on, Tommy must survive deadly seductions, crooked cops, betrayal, motorcycle chases, hi-tech gagdets, bullets and bombs to save his daughetrs life.

Format:DVD
Pure horror this collection!
Part 1:
- uncut (cause of FSK 16)
- Video: good
- Sound: too much difference between whisper and shout.
Part 2:
- uncut
- Video: soooo baaaad, like an unsharp better VHS Rip
- Sound: for a long time the soundeffects have a terrible echo
Part 3:
- cut (around 40 seconds missing. Tommy Lee was driving on the bike, then next scene he has a mask on his head an fights the guy who want rape his girl. Very unelegant cut)
- Video: good
- Sound: good
Part 4:
- uncut
- Video: good
- Sound: good
I am much shocked about a collection box that is a mixed of cut and uncut Films, big quality differences in Video and Sound. The price of this hand full of Euros is ok, but no more.
I have no problem to pay more money for a better box "Best of the Best" with 4 times UNCUT movies and constant normal quality.

This box set is for martial arts and action fans only.
Don't expect superb oscar winning acting because these movies don't fit into that kind of genre.
The 1st best of the best is completely different from the others. The 1st one focuses on an american team competing against a Korean team in a full contact karate bout.
The other movies have their own story lines but are more action typed than the first was. Best of the Best 2 I thought was ok. It's the 3rd and 4th ones which are worth seeing.
The price amazon are selling is incredible that is why I give it 5 stars. I prefer this type of martial arts / action because the fight scenes are believeable no stupid wire work or computer animated stunts are featured.
I like this boxset but it is not something every one will enjoy.

I am a big fan of the original Best of the Best, it was one of the first martial arts movies that didn't follow the conventional script. The second in the series was more traditional fare and an expansion of the characters after their monumental showdown with the Korean Karate Team. I picked up this box set without having seen 3 and 4. They are good films in their own right but the only real link to the other movies is the main actor Philip Rhee. Overall a solid collection of movies at a very reasonable price.

awesome collection of films
great films all quite different aswell so there is something in there for every martial arts film fan especially if you practice tae kwon do

I saw BOTB 2 at the cinema (probably one of a handful that saw it in the UK)

Fantastic cheesey goodness
It does what it says on the tin some very silly action sequences and hammy acting and over the top bad guys. Top flight entertainment

Great Set
Having seen Best of the best originally in 1989(1st Film)I was very impressed that all the films have been made available in DVD format, my old vhs tapes are a bit worn. Read more

Don't expect a saga
If you like a mixture of martial arts, bloody shootouts, and broken bones, as Seagal & Van Damme delivered in the 90's then this may be worth a look. Read more

These are 4 good solid movies but it is 3 and 4 the ones to watch.
