1.0 out of 5 stars GIVE THIS ONE A MISS 2 Sep 2009
This has to be the worst Documentary style production I have ever viewed - as it is a 2009 release I was expecting the production of this title to be up to date and accurate...it is neither.
What the production company here has done is cobble together a selection of semi-professional and amateurish video many of it shot in the late 80's and early 90's to try to represent the Red Arrows of today.
The editing is appaling...there is no flow or progression to the programme, it just skips about all over the place.
The background music is like something you would expect to hear from a production from 2 decades ago
and the narrative is mostly boring, uninformative or inaccurate.
This DVD does not do the Red Arrows the justice they rightly deserve.
I will be contacting Amazon and asking if a refund would be possible....it really is that bad!

3.0 out of 5 stars Red arrow dvd 26 Sep 2009
I was disapointed in this dvd as it did not capture the real atmosphere of this amazing display team. When clips of displays were shown the noise from the jets were replaced with music (and not good music at that). The commentator throughout this dvd sounded dull and i found it hard to keep focused on what he was saying because of it. What should have been a dvd of excitement and entertainment with some background history to the team past and present was replaced with a poor effort of a dvd and dullness. Best of british this was not!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars best of british the red arrows 17 May 2010
The flight scenes were ok but the background sound and music was poor and not well set out.
At times the music was repetative and frankly dull which spoilt the overral flight scenes

1.0 out of 5 stars disapointed 27 Dec 2009

very poor quality.....Extremely disapointed by the quality and WE had to pay full price. Our Grandson is Red Arrows/Turkish All Stars mad...but this was not interesting enough for him to sit anud watch.... Considering the Red rrows have such a large fan base. We thought that we would receive a quality product. I would go as far at to say it is very a poor copy.
