limited edition is the one to get 27 July 2010

A best of with only 3 albums under the belt seems a little too soon in their career but yet it seems to work. Perhaps it should have been called best selection.The limited edition second disc is really where its at. This contains loads of tracks that were previously unreleased or were only available on the limited edition import.A fine example of this is the way enola gay has been reconstructed. I wont go listing all the tracks but will say that if you like nouvelle vague this really is the better one the buy.

often a cover version leaves a lot to be desired - but this collection is fresh, unique, quirky (in a very complimentary way) I play it over and over and every one I play it for wants a copy (legal of course).

I loved A Bande Apart - but somehow what was quirky and fun and French turns into boring and predictable. Stuck in a rut. They need to sound alternative and original again!
