An informative read for the 1st time Best Man.,

A good informative read if you've not been given the honour of being Best Man before. At first read it does a good job of scaring the hell out of you by going into all of the expected duties of the Best Man. But don't worry, if the wedding you're attending isn't a high society affair it's very unlikely that you'll have to look after more than about half of the duties. I also bought "The Best Mans Organiser" by Christopher Hobson which I rate as slightly more useable than this book. However, with the pair of them you just can't fail. The two books seem to disagree about the order of some things, especially when it comes to the Best Man's speech. This book probably give me the most help in that regard though. Don't expect to be given chapter and verse on how to write your speech but the guidelines are probably enough to steer you in the right direction.
