This book has the poem in it my Mother's Mother read to her and then my Mother read to me....Over the hill to the poor house, I am winding my weary way, I a woman of seventy and only a trifle gray.... when I read this it brings my Mother back to me full force. I just love the whole book.

Ever since I was 7 years old (I am 9 years old now), I always thought that this book was one of my favorite books. It has brought me laughter, sadness and other feelings I can't describe. I recommend everyone buy this book.

I found this book on a shelf when I was 10 years old and haven't put it down since. Now that I'm grown both of my children have a copy of it too. This wonderful book taught me that poetry was much more than rhyming, it opened my eyes to the wonders of verse.
