Stunning photography in this series which also covers other areas of France. (how Sir Dirk Bogarde could stand to move to grotty, polluted ,ugly London after twenty years in Provence and Rome is beyond me.) no power on earth would bring me back to the UK if I could afford a Villa in this stunning region.

By james seeley - Published on Amazon.com
The range of subjects these authors have covered gives some idea of how inexpert they are and how hurried and error-prone their writing is--even the photo captions. One "best kept secret" is how they managed to churn all this inferior stuff out so quickly. The method seems to be: get the photos (buy? borrow?) then stick on text without doing any research. I would imagine their knowledge of Provence is either based on a short holiday or has come straight out of someone else's book.
