I will save the song by song review for somebody with more time to kill. I just want to say that after waiting five years for a new Danielson album I was a bit nervous that this was not going to live up to my unrealistic expectations. Crisis averted! This is a fantastic album. It mixes the layered and complex production of 'ships' with the DIY ethos of every Danielson (or variation thereof) album that preceded it. What you get is a beatuful, well-produced album with just enough quirky down home feel to draw you in. It has been a long time between albums but it was worth the wait.
