The other reviews made me think there was something more to this book, like recipes, so against my better judgement I bought it. It's nothing like the other reviews make it out to be; it just lists food like broccoli and almonds. It's nothing I would take to the shops with me or use to plan meals. It reads like something you could just google and find out for free. I bought it because it was less than £1, so wouldn't be out anything if it was horrible (I had my suspicions it would be a waste). Now I'm wishing I would have just bought a chocolate bar instead.

When my wife got 101 Best Foods, I didn't think too much about it but the next trip to the store and she had compiled a list of foods straight from the book. I was expecting a boring diet plan but the food selection is far better than I thought it would be. SALSA! Yes! (I could live on salsa!) We found virtually nothing in the book that our regular shop didn't have. You don't have to buy special food to boost your matabolism and that's the best thing about doing all this. We have been on her food plans that she compiled from the book for about 3 weeks. We really enjoy the food and your family should also.

101 Best Foods to Boost Your Metabolism is one of the most helpful food-resource books we've purchased and we are thrilled that it's available now for my roomie's Kindle. We can now, with our Kindle cell-based Android phone, access the information while shopping at the grocer.

The layout of the foods makes them extremely simple to locate and analyse. We need our metabolism boosted that's for certain as we enjoy our traditional English breakfasts a little TOO much...!... and yet, we can now help offset that in so many ways. Bread is our FAVE but we both have problems and we learned here that Rye bread - DELICIOUS! - not only is a metabolism booster of sorts but also is tolerable for those with gluten problems - ME - and that by itself makes this gem great for me! It prompted this review!!!!
