This is a great book. I buy the latest edition every couple of years and it never fails to come up with the goods. There is a good price range of holiday accommodation and I have always found the descriptions accurate. The accommodation, food and friendliness of the people running the B & Bs in this book knock all the hotels off the radar for me!
Great book with great photos and gave me some ideas of where to go and what to expect. We thought about preplanning our trip around the UK but after reading the book decided to just go with the day and book the accommodation where every we wanted to stop for the night.

The Best Bed and Breakfast England, Scotland, Wales 2008-2009

I am disappointed in the subject book because the print is so light that it is extremely difficult to read. The content is excellent as usual, but I cannot understand why the print is so faint. I have purchased this book in years past and never had this problem. I would like to know the reason for this change.

The countryside suggestions are good, as always. However, I used the in-London on-line reservation service and was very disappointed by the B&B itself, the landlady, and the lack of assistance from the reservation service.

Beautiful pictures

We purchased this book in anticipation of a trip to UK. While the pictures were lovely, we didn't find many listings for the areas where we planned to visit, and I didn't find the book real easy to use...maybe it is just me. We ended up leaving it with our kids who live in UK, hoping they might find it helpful for a weekend getaway in the future.
