Best British band of the last 10 years? Well I thought so. For melody, experimentation, improvisation, intelligence and humour – no one else has really come close. And now, largely thanks to the unenlightened masses who criminally ignored their records in favour of bland-commercial-uninspiring-conformist-indie rock, the Beta Band are no more. Thankfully, for those of us to wish to open our minds and hearts to the limitless possibilities of sound and vision, we have been blessed with this DVD collection of the Best of the Beta Band. Amongst the fantastic videos and short films, the standout feature of the package is a documentary chronicling the making of their last album, Heroes to Zeros. (Only minor point of the DVD is that it's missing the great video for 'Broke' from Hot Shots II) Essentially, this is a histoical record of unrecognised genius. A must for any fan, and for those who are new to the pleasures of the Beta Band, you can catch up on what you missed. You should’ve been there man, you should’ve been there.

just so you guys know there is a hidden track on disc one. the track is round the bend i cant play it on my dvd player but if i use nero i can fin d the track at the very end of the dvd.
