So I was out searching for a new dessert book as I often do. Saw this, with 1500 recipes, and thought how can I not find something new to try. And YES there are lots of new and interesting recipes... **BUT** there is something VERY wrong with many of the recipes. So far my wife and I have tried 3 different recipes follow the instructions using either imperial (cups, etc) or metric- and this woman/book still fails MIGHTLY! The ideas sound good, but so far nothing has worked, even the simple lemon bar recipe was runny! So really I would avoid this book if I were you. That is unless you want a new idea and don't mind playing around to make a recipe work.

I checked the only other reviews of any of Brody's cookbooks and the only 2 I found both complained of everything having too much liquid (even the positive review). Sad, I should have checked before- don't make the same mistake!
