Format: Paperback
... be careful, because my copy lacks 33 pages, from page 482 to 515: which at the rhythm that Shaw lived means possibly at least two or three plays, a couple of platonic infatuations with sexy actresses, a plethora of speeches & letters to the Times & a few cycle/motorbike/car accidents. Less importantly, pages 275 - 306 are printed twice. To be honest, if you have the time, I'd go for the complete four-volume version, since almost nothing Shaw did or wrote is without interest, and Holroyd, of course, is a wonderfully witty and stylish author in his own right. Meanwhile, I must twiddle my thumbs and hope that Amazon can come up with a full-paged copy to replace the one I have...
