With the Macon helmet, Bern have made a very stylish looking piece of kit that really stands out from the crowd; far better looking than the normal fare that most cyclists seem to go for.
The fit is extremely comfortable and it feels lighter on your head than you might expect it to be, and I like the way that it gives extra protection to the back of your head should you ever fall off your bike backwards. I also feel that because it has less vents than many traditional cycling helmets, it offers more protection and feels sturdier.
I've given it 4 stars though because you have to ensure that you get the right size, I did, but there is no way of tightening the fit at the back of the helmet, it just sits on your head. Secondly, less air vents might mean better protection but it can make your head a bit sweaty. I wouldn't use this helmet in summer but it is perfect for colder days.

Size problem

Well my head size is 7 1/2 so the size indicated here was perfect. Upon receiving the helmet, unless you have a perfectly round "helmet head" then the helmet will sit on top of head funny. I'm not saying you have to look cool when wearing a helmet but you should at least feel comfortable wearing it. I ended up going with a holt (60-62) helmet instead.
