After years of wanting to visit St Petersburg in the old USSR I am off this coming June. I know quite a lot about Russian history especially the Romanof period and of course St Petersburg is the place to visit. The Berlitz guide is great in that it fills those important to know gaps and has already given me a feel for the place,the day to day practicalities to be aware of as well as highlighting those "must" places to visit.
On the matter of practicalities , of course it fits in the pocket !
