These guides are great for a brief overview and pointers to what to see and do. They are also very good if you don't have time to plough through a detailed guide book. Don't expect any great insights but there is good overview on history, places to go and main things to see. We used it quite a lot on our visit, staying in the North West of the island and found it very useful for getting about and finding interesting places to visit in our hire car.
