My project involves recreating days in audio form between 1935-45. Books like this give added depth to what I am doing.

Every historian and WWII buff should read this account. I ordered this book after reading Friedrich's "Battleground: Berlin". Ruth was a great writer and philosopher. She causes one to stop and think about humanity.
