I have worn the 25L 24/7 on many occasions and it has always proved comfortable. It is hydration bladder compatible and has some good storage inside. My only gripe would be the poor fixing points for poles, these needed modifying to make them useful. Overall a good well build, comfortable day sack.

I was looking for a bag for college and this one has turned out to be perfect. Plenty of room for my folders, books and laptop. Comfortable straps. Highly recommend this high quality bag.

Brilliant Product. Purchased this for my trip in Saudi Arabia. The backpack has plenty of storage and pockets to put your items in. Also the adjustable straps are ideal. The main thing which impressed me was how waterproof this bag is. I got stuck in the middle of a rain storm, where I was worried about my passport, papers etc. getting wet in the backpack. When returning to the hotel, I was shocked to discover that the bag was completely dry inside, considering how wet it was on the outside! And I forgot to mention the bag is VERY strong, I had approx 20kg at one point, and the backpack did not fault once.

A well made and strong bag as you would expect from Berghaus. One of the few small rucksacs available which has zip pockets on the outside rather than mesh bottle holders only

I brought this bag as a replacement for my old Berghaus Backpack 30lt which the zip broke on it.

I was carrying too much in it, the zip opened, streatched and eventually destroyed it. My fault I suppose.

These bags are very comfortable on your back. I have walked up Snowdon with no problems. I use it every day in work and take it most places on days out.

You could even use it for mountain biking, but it would get sweaty on your back.

They dont stand upright, they always slide flat on the floor which does annoy me.

Overall a very good bag, just be careful with the zip.
They have 2 zipps which I tend to pull open and not use properly. Thats what caused the first one to brake on me.

It wasn't the bad, It was me being rough with it.

Get one !!!!!!!!!!

Primary reason for buying this is not to haul it up mountains but to take stuff to work and in this regard it is perfect. The rucksack is well made and the materials feel very durable, the one exception for concern is the grab handle at the top which is rather thin, time will tell if this holds up to daily use, the straps though are fine. The main compartment is a good size and is split in two with one section slightly smaller, ideal for a laptop. There are two net pouches on either side ideal for holding a drinks bottle.

Overall very happy with this purchase.

*** Update 30/4 *** My concern with the grab handle was well founded, after a month of light use and no abuse the grab handle broke, this appears to have been a material weakness rather than fixing at the seam, a replacement is on it's way, hopefully this was a one off but knocks it down to 4 stars from 5

A good day sack but with one drawback! The loop on top that I usually use for lifting the bag is far too small and weak. After only a few outings and the usual gear inside, the loop just pulled away from the stitching when lifting the bag. Perhaps Berghaus's use for the loop is as a hangar for an empty bag? At any rate I expect more from Berghaus and for the sake of a little more material, the loop could be beefed up significantly and used as a proper handle.

I got this bag for taking to the gym and on day hikes etc. It is roomy, sturdy, and comfortable, with lots of useful compartments.

I do however have one large gripe about it: the water bottle holders are next to useless. They are too tight, and cut too low on one side, with the result that if you have a typical 500ml bottle in them it might fall out of its own accord when you are walking. They bottles always fall out when you take the bag off, unless you take them out whilst the bag is still on your back. I find this rather irritating, and it the one thing that will put me off buying another bag of this type as a replacement.
